Anthony B.Catachanas
Founding Partner
Group Chief Executive Officer
Tony is the firm’s Founding Partner & Group Chief Executive Officer, based in London & New York. He is responsible for the firm’s governance, management and strategy as well as origination, transaction negotiation, structuring, and overall company development activities within the management team.
Before Tower Peak, Anthony was a co-Founder and CEO of Victory Hill Capital Partners LLP, where he was responsible for firm governance, management, strategy and portfolio management of the firm’s $530mn London-listed fund (ticker: GSEO LN) focused on global sustainable energy investments.
Prior to this he was responsible for international business strategy and private asset investments globally as well as institutional investment solutions for EMEA and helped build and develop the real asset investment business of asset management one alternative investments, the alternative asset management arm of Mizuho Financial Group. He was also a founding principal of Mizuho Bank’s Energy Special Situations Group and was involved in various private capital markets transactions with the investment banking.
Prior to this, he was a Partner at AlphaOne Partners LLP in their energy-focused private equity business where he contributed to build industrial partnerships with global industrial energy groups.
He also worked for Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director, where he was responsible for financial institutions strategy and strategic relationships with institutional investors across Europe and the United States.
Before Goldman Sachs, he worked in both equity and fixed-income derivatives at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and ABN AMRO.
He began his career as a Statistics Research Analyst at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.
Prior to banking he spent some time working in the directorate for foreign affairs of the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, where he worked on the Euromed Trade Agreement.
He holds a BA (Hons) in Management & Business Administration from Henley Business School, an MSc in Global Politics from University of Southampton, and an MBA from University of Cambridge
He is a member of the UK CFA Institute. He is also a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers, a fellow of the Energy Institute and regular financial industry guest speaker at the Judge School of Business at the University of Cambridge.
Denis Sedes
Founding Partner
Group Chief Financial Officer & Chief Risk Officer
Denis is a Founding Partner of the firm and its Group Chief Financial & Chief Risk Officer based in London. He is responsible for firmwide risk management and oversight, investment and portfolio risk oversight, firm financial management and firm stakeholder engagement as well as transaction negotiation, structuring, and general firm development matters within the management team.
Before Tower Peak, Denis was the Founder and CEO of Navirco, a strategic risk consulting business focused on large global industrial companies at executive level.
Prior to this, he was EMEA Head of Structured Solutions and Risk Advisory in Mizuho Bank’s Corporate Finance Advisory Division. Denis has advised the executive arms of large French and other European industrial companies, notably in the energy, utilities, natural resources, automotive, chemical and aerospace/defence sectors.
Previously, he was a senior advisor to the board of Eurizon SLJ Capital, providing the firm insights into industrial equity investments and corporate investor strategies.
Denis also worked as a portfolio manager at Eiffel Investment Group, a principal investment business that spun-out from the privately-owned global merchant firm Louis Dreyfus Company.
Denis spent over 10 years working for the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Group across several advisory roles as Head of Strategic Advisory and Corporate Solutions as well as within the investment bank.
He began his career at the French Ministry for the Environment, where he was an Official Representative for Energy Affairs and Head of Environmental Regulation for Industrial Companies. He was appointed to the Prime Minister’s Task Force for the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol, leading the national consultation with the energy industry and co-authoring policy recommendations.
Denis also held an academic post as a visiting scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.
Denis holds a MSc in Science & Engineering from Mines Paristech, a Master in Public Policy from the Corps des Mines School of Government at Mines Paristech and an MBA from MIT with a Major in Financial Management.
Wolfgang Bischoff
Managing Partner
Chief Investment Officer (Global & Europe)
Wolfgang is a Managing Partner of the firm and its Group Chief Investment Officer with additional regional remit for Europe, based in London. He is responsible for managing the firm’s origination, execution and portfolio management activities and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s global investment activities.
Before Tower Peak, Wolfgang was a Managing Director in Copenhagen Infrastructure Partner’s first Growth Markets Fund for renewable energy assets, where he led all origination activities for the fund globally, with special emphasis on Latin America.
Prior to this, he spent 16 years as Head of Siemens’ principal investments in infrastructure and private equity investments. He remit was global yet focused on infrastructure opportunities that involved both captive technologies as well as innovative and complimentary investment opportunities across the both renewable and conventional energy, transportation infrastructure, medical treatment facilities as well as a range of other industrial infrastructure projects. Wolfgang led the establishment of Siemens Financial Services’ London Office and also led a series of successful offshore wind investments during his tenure.
Wolfgang started his career as a Banker in the Project Finance Department of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt and in Rio de Janeiro where he focused on energy and other industrial infrastructure projects as a lender and financial advisor.
Wolfgang holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Freiburg University, Germany and a Masters in Physics from the University of Kiel, Germany.
Luke Apicella
Managing Partner
Chief Investment Officer (North America)
Luke is a Managing Partner of the firm and its Chief Investment Officer for North America, based in New York City. Luke oversees all North American investment activity, portfolio management, investment execution, impact and sustainability management as well as overall New York Office management.
Luke is an accomplished Impact investor with more than 20 years of sustainable and impact investments across private equity, venture capital, infrastructure and funds.
Prior to Tower Peak, Luke was Vice President at PGIM the investment arm of Prudential Financial Inc. During his tenure in PGIM’s Private Alternatives division, Luke was responsible for co-managing a portfolio of $1bn of sustainable and impact investments.
Before taking the lead on PGIM’s impact portfolio, Luke has held several investment roles at Prudential’s Impact and Responsible Investment division.
Luke has been a Member of the Investment Committee of the Disability Opportunity Fund at Prudential as well as a Committee Member on Prudential’s Climate Change Policy Task Force and it’s Envornmental Task Force.
Luke holds a MSc in Studies in Sustainability Management from Columbia University’s Climate School, New York; an MBA with Finance, Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the NYU Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises with a Major in Finance from the University of Syracuse, New York.
Luke is also an Adjunct Professor in Sustainable Finance at Columbia University, New York.
Stratis Kamatsos
Managing Partner
Group General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
Stratis is a Managing Partner of the firm and its General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He is responsible for ensuring that all the firm’s affairs globally adhere to all rules and regulations. Stratis also supports the management team in performing its governance and risk management functions and advises on all firm aspects of the firm’s corporate matters.
Stratis is an accomplished international attorney and social entrepreneur. He is the owner of Kamatsos Law, a London-based law firm that advises on a range of complex legal matters. He is also the founder and owner of evo3 an olive oil production business in Greece.
Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, he has worked and practiced law with London-based Consolio, where he performed a number of corporate counsel mandates as well as various project development mandates.
He also worked for Navios Group a Greek-owned shipping company in Athens, Greece, where he ran the Corporate Division and oversaw the company’s international operations as legal counsel.
Stratis also worked for New Media Europe as in-house counsel as well as Pappas & Associates as a competition law team leader in Brussels, Belgium. He also worked for the McClure Law Firm LLC and the American Antitrust Institute in Washington DC.
Stratis began his career by working at the European Commission in the Directorate General Competition.
He holds a degree in Law from the University of Durham, United Kingdom as well as an LLM in European Union Law from University College London (UCL) and an LLM from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Stratis is admitted to the New York Bar and is a Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
Stratis is also an accomplished public speaker and book author, having appeared on TEDx to speak of his family olive oil business as well as his book entitled “Slow Life Diet – Greek Village Living”.
Rosemary Pajot
Principal Manager
Head of Business Development
Rosemary is a Principal of the firm and is its Head of Business Development & Investor Relations. She is responsible for firm’s engagement with institutional and private investors across Europe and North America as well as all external investor engagements on behalf of the firm.
Prior to Tower Peak Rosemary worked as an independent placement agent focused on Venture Capital and Private Equity investments for family offices around the world, where she established an important network of Family Offices and institutional investors across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Rosemary worked as Head of Client Relations at Blue Ocean Investment Partners, a growth mid-market investment firm based in London.
Prior to Blue Ocean, she also worked Sales Director for LNG Capital a European Credit Hedge Fund based in London. She held various positions at BMO Global Asset Management (EMEA) across sales and client services.
Prior to BMO she worked at Alpari, the Securities Trading Firm and Orchid Partners a Venture Capital Firm.
She holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in France, an MSc in Science, Technology and Society from Imperial College London in the United Kingdom. Rosemary is also a Member of the UK CFA Society.
